El SEÑOR entregó a Laquis en manos de Israel. La tomó al segundo día y la hirió a filo de espada con todas las almas que había en ella, conforme a todo lo que había hecho con Libna.
And the LORD delivered Lachish into the hand of Israel, which took it on the second day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that {were} therein, according to all that he had done to Libnah.
וַיִּתֵּן֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֶת־לָכִ֜ישׁ בְּיַ֣ד יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וַֽיִּלְכְּדָהּ֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וַיַּכֶּ֣הָ לְפִי־חֶ֔רֶב וְאֶת־כָּל־הַנֶּ֖פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֑הּ כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֖ה לְלִבְנָֽה׃
vayiten yhvah ʾet-lakiysh byad yishraʾel vayilkdah bayvom hasheniy vayakeha lpiy-ḥereb vʾet-kal-hanepesh ʾasher-bah kkol ʾasher-ʿashah llibnah
