La tomaron aquel mismo día y la hirieron a filo de espada. Destruyó ese día a toda alma que había en ella, conforme a todo lo que había hecho con Laquis.
And they took it on that day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that {were} therein he utterly destroyed that day, according to all that he had done to Lachish.
וַֽיִּלְכְּד֜וּהָ בַּיּ֤וֹם הַהוּא֙ וַיַכּ֣וּהָ לְפִי־חֶ֔רֶב וְאֵת֙ כָּל־הַנֶּ֣פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֔הּ בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא הֶחֱרִ֑ים כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֖ה לְלָכִֽישׁ׃
