Y no expulsaron a los cananeos que habitaban en Gezer; sino que los cananeos habitan en medio de Efraín hasta el día de hoy, y se han convertido en siervos para trabajos forzados.
And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.
וְלֹ֣א הוֹרִ֔ישׁוּ אֶת־הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י הַיּוֹשֵׁ֣ב בְּגָ֑זֶר וַיֵּ֨שֶׁב הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֜י בְּקֶ֤רֶב אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ עַד־הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה וַיְהִ֖י לְמַס־עֹבֵֽד׃
vloʾ hvoriyshv ʾet-haknaʿaniy hayvosheb bgazer vayesheb haknaʿaniy bqereb ʾeprayim ʿad-hayvom hazeh vayhiy lmas-ʿobed
