Sin embargo, los hijos de Manasés no pudieron desposeer a los habitantes de esas ciudades, sino que los cananeos insistían en habitar en aquella tierra.
Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out {the inhabitants of} those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.
וְלֹ֤א יָכְלוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה לְהוֹרִ֖ישׁ אֶת־הֶֽעָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה וַיּ֙וֹאֶל֙ הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י לָשֶׁ֖בֶת בָּאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּֽאת׃
vloʾ yaklv bney mnasheh lhvoriysh ʾet-heʿariym haʾeleh vayvoʾel haknaʿaniy lashebet baʾareṣ hazoʾt
