Los hijos de Israel dieron estas ciudades con sus ejidos a los levitas por sorteo, como el SEÑOR lo había mandado por medio de Moisés.
And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם אֶת־הֶעָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה וְאֶת־מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶ֑ן כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה בְּיַד־מֹשֶׁ֖ה בַּגּוֹרָֽל׃
vayitnv bney-yishraʾel lalviyim ʾet-heʿariym haʾeleh vʾet-migrsheyhen kaʾasher ṣivah yhvah byad-mosheh bagvoral
