Entonces el pueblo gritó y los sacerdotes tocaron las trompetas. Cuando el pueblo oyó el sonido de la trompeta, lanzó un gran grito de guerra, y la muralla cayó derribada, de modo que el pueblo subió a la ciudad, cada uno en derechura hacia adelante, y tomaron la ciudad.
So the people shouted when {the priests} blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. {flat: Heb. under it}
וַיָּ֣רַע הָעָ֔ם וַֽיִּתְקְע֖וּ בַּשֹּֽׁפָר֑וֹת וַיְהִי֩ כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ הָעָ֜ם אֶת־ק֣וֹל הַשּׁוֹפָ֗ר וַיָּרִ֤יעוּ הָעָם֙ תְּרוּעָ֣ה גְדוֹלָ֔ה וַתִּפֹּ֨ל הַֽחוֹמָ֜ה תַּחְתֶּ֗יהָ וַיַּ֨עַל הָעָ֤ם הָעִ֙ירָה֙ אִ֣ישׁ נֶגְדּ֔וֹ וַֽיִּלְכְּד֖וּ אֶת־הָעִֽיר׃
vayaraʿ haʿam vayitqʿv bashoparvot vayhiy kishmoʿa haʿam ʾet-qvol hashvopar vayariyʿv haʿam trvʿah gdvolah vatipol haḥvomah taḥteyha vayaʿal haʿam haʿiyrah ʾiysh negdvo vayilkdv ʾet-haʿiyr
