Pero los hijos de Israel cometieron una infidelidad en cuanto a lo consagrado a la destrucción; porque Acán hijo de Carmi, hijo de Zabdi, hijo de Zera, de la tribu de Judá, tomó de lo consagrado. Por eso la ira del SEÑOR se encendió contra los hijos de Israel.
But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel. {Achan: also called, Achar} {Zabdi: also called, Zimri}
וַיִּמְעֲל֧וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל מַ֖עַל בַּחֵ֑רֶם וַיִּקַּ֡ח עָכָ֣ן בֶּן־כַּרְמִי֩ בֶן־זַבְדִּ֨י בֶן־זֶ֜רַח לְמַטֵּ֤ה יְהוּדָה֙ מִן־הַחֵ֔רֶם וַיִּֽחַר־אַ֥ף יְהוָ֖ה בִּבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
vayimʿalv bney-yishraʾel maʿal baḥerem vayiqaḥ ʿakan ben-karmiy ben-zabdiy ben-zeraḥ lmaṭeh yhvdah min-haḥerem vayiḥar-ʾaf yhvah bibney yishraʾel
