And all the people that {were} in Ai were called together to pursue after them: and they pursued after Joshua, and were drawn away from the city.
וַיִּזָּעֲק֗וּ כָּל־הָעָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בעיר בָּעַ֔י לִרְדֹּ֖ף אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם וַֽיִּרְדְּפוּ֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ וַיִּנָּתְק֖וּ מִן־הָעִֽיר׃
vayizaʿaqv kal-haʿam ʾasher bʿyr baʿay lirdof ʾaḥareyhem vayirdpv ʾaḥarey yhvoshuʿa vayinatqv min-haʿiyr
