El pueblo, los jefes de Galaad, se dijeron unos a otros: «¿Quién es el hombre que comenzará a pelear contra los hijos de Amón? Ese será cabeza sobre todos los habitantes de Galaad.»
And the people {and} princes of Gilead said one to another, What man {is he} that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
וַיֹּאמְר֨וּ הָעָ֜ם שָׂרֵ֤י גִלְעָד֙ אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־רֵעֵ֔הוּ מִ֣י הָאִ֔ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָחֵ֔ל לְהִלָּחֵ֖ם בִּבְנֵ֣י עַמּ֑וֹן יִֽהְיֶ֣ה לְרֹ֔אשׁ לְכֹ֖ל יֹשְׁבֵ֥י גִלְעָֽד׃
vayoʾmrv haʿam sharey gilʿad ʾiysh ʾel-reʿehv miy haʾiysh ʾasher yaḥel lhilaḥem bibney ʿamvon yihyeh lroʾsh lkol yoshbey gilʿad
