Así tomaron el pueblo provisiones en sus manos y sus trompetas; y él despidió a todos los israelitas cada uno a su tienda, y retuvo a los trescientos hombres; y el campamento de Madián estaba debajo de él en el valle.
So the people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all {the rest of} Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the valley.
וַיִּקְח֣וּ אֶת־צֵדָה֩ הָעָ֨ם בְּיָדָ֜ם וְאֵ֣ת שׁוֹפְרֹֽתֵיהֶ֗ם וְאֵ֨ת כָּל־אִ֤ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ שִׁלַּח֙ אִ֣ישׁ לְאֹֽהָלָ֔יו וּבִשְׁלֹשׁ־מֵא֥וֹת הָאִ֖ישׁ הֽ͏ֶחֱזִ֑יק וּמַחֲנֵ֣ה מִדְיָ֔ן הָ֥יָה ל֖וֹ מִתַּ֥חַת בָּעֵֽמֶק׃
vayiqḥv ʾet-ṣedah haʿam byadam vʾet shvoproteyhem vʾet kal-ʾiysh yishraʾel shilaḥ ʾiysh lʾohalayv vbishlosh-meʾvot haʾiysh h͏eḥeziyq vmaḥaneh midyan hayah lvo mitaḥat baʿemeq
