Judges 9:14

Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, {and} reign over us. {bramble: or, thistle}

“Then all the trees said to the bramble, ‘Come and reign over us.’

וַיֹּאמְר֥וּ כָל־הָעֵצִ֖ים אֶל־הָאָטָ֑ד לֵ֥ךְ אַתָּ֖ה מְלָךְ־עָלֵֽינוּ׃

vayoʾmrv kal-haʿeṣiym ʾel-haʾaṭad lek ʾatah mlak-ʿaleynv
