Envió mensajeros a Abimelec con astucia, diciendo: «He aquí que Gaal hijo de Ebed y sus hermanos han venido a Siquem, y están instigando la ciudad contra ti.
And he sent messengers unto Abimelech privily, saying, Behold, Gaal the son of Ebed and his brethren be come to Shechem; and, behold, they fortify the city against thee. {privily: Heb. craftily or, to Tormah}
וַיִּשְׁלַ֧ח מַלְאָכִ֛ים אֶל־אֲבִימֶ֖לֶךְ בְּתָרְמָ֣ה לֵאמֹ֑ר הִנֵּה֩ גַ֨עַל בֶּן־עֶ֤בֶד וְאֶחָיו֙ בָּאִ֣ים שְׁכֶ֔מָה וְהִנָּ֛ם צָרִ֥ים אֶת־הָעִ֖יר עָלֶֽיךָ׃
vayishlaḥ malʾakiym ʾel-ʾabiymelek btarmah leʾmor hineh gaʿal ben-ʿebed vʾeḥayv baʾiym shkemah vhinam ṣariym ʾet-haʿiyr ʿaleyka
