Él tomó el pueblo, lo dividió en tres compañías y tendió una emboscada en el campo; y miró, y he aquí que el pueblo salía de la ciudad. Entonces se levantó contra ellos y los hirió.
And he took the people, and divided them into three companies, and laid wait in the field, and looked, and, behold, the people {were} come forth out of the city; and he rose up against them, and smote them.
וַיִקַּ֣ח אֶת־הָעָ֗ם וַֽיֶּחֱצֵם֙ לִשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה רָאשִׁ֔ים וַיֶּאֱרֹ֖ב בַּשָּׂדֶ֑ה וַיַּ֗רְא וְהִנֵּ֤ה הָעָם֙ יֹצֵ֣א מִן־הָעִ֔יר וַיָּ֥קָם עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם וַיַּכֵּֽם׃
vayiqaḥ ʾet-haʿam vayeḥeṣem lishloshah raʾshiym vayeʾerob bashadeh vayarʾ vhineh haʿam yoṣeʾ min-haʿiyr vayaqam ʿaleyhem vayakem
