Pero tú, Belén Efrata, aunque pequeña entre los clanes de Judá, de ti saldrá para mí el que será gobernante en Israel; y sus orígenes son desde tiempos antiguos, desde los días de la eternidad.
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, {though} thou be little among the thousands of Judah, {yet} out of thee shall he come forth unto me {that is} to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth {have been} from of old, from everlasting. {everlasting: Heb. the days of eternity}
לָכֵ֣ן יִתְּנֵ֔ם עַד־עֵ֥ת יוֹלֵדָ֖ה יָלָ֑דָה וְיֶ֣תֶר אֶחָ֔יו יְשׁוּב֖וּן עַל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
