1 Corinthians 10:13

peirasmos ymas oyk eilēphen ei mē anthrōpinos· pistos de o Theos, os oyk easei ymas peirasthēnai yper o dynasthe, alla poiēsei syn tō peirasmō kai tēn ekbasin, toy dynasthai ymas ypenegkein.
King James Version (KJV)

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Modern English

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
