1 Corinthians 10:20

Ἀλλ' ὅτι ἃ θύει τὰ ἔθνη, δαιμονίοις θύει, καὶ οὐ Θεῷ· οὐ θέλω δὲ ὑμᾶς κοινωνοὺς τῶν δαιμονίων γίνεσθαι.
All' oti a thyei ta ethnē, daimoniois thyei, kai oy Theō· oy thelō de ymas koinōnoys tōn daimoniōn ginesthai.
King James Version (KJV)

But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

Modern English

No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.
