1 Corinthians 10:29

Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience?

I am referring to the other person's conscience, not yours. For why is my freedom being judged by another's conscience?

Συνείδησιν δὲ λέγω, οὐχὶ τὴν ἑαυτοῦ, ἀλλὰ τὴν τοῦ ἑτέρου· ἵνα τί γὰρ ἡ ἐλευθερία μου κρίνεται ὑπὸ ἄλλης συνειδήσεως;

Syneidēsin de legō, oychi tēn eaytoy, alla tēn toy eteroy· ina ti gar ē eleytheria moy krinetai ypo allēs syneidēseōs;
