1 Corinthians 10:6

Ταῦτα δὲ τύποι ἡμῶν ἐγενήθησαν, εἰς τὸ μὴ εἶναι ἡμᾶς ἐπιθυμητὰς κακῶν, καθὼς κἀκεῖνοι ἐπεθύμησαν.
Tayta de typoi ēmōn egenēthēsan, eis to mē einai ēmas epithymētas kakōn, kathōs kakeinoi epethymēsan.

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
