1 John 3:4

Πᾶς ὁ ποιῶν τὴν ἁμαρτίαν, καὶ τὴν ἀνομίαν ποιεῖ· καὶ ἡ ἁμαρτία ἐστὶν ἡ ἀνομία.
Pas o poiōn tēn amartian, kai tēn anomian poiei· kai ē amartia estin ē anomia.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
