1 John 3:5

Καὶ οἴδατε ὅτι ἐκεῖνος ἐφανερώθη, ἵνα τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἡμῶν ἄρῃ· καὶ ἁμαρτία ἐν αὐτῷ οὐκ ἔστιν.

Kai oidate oti ekeinos ephanerōthē, ina tas amartias ēmōn arē· kai amartia en aytō oyk estin.

King James Version (KJV)

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

Modern English

But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
