1 Timothy 4:8

ἡ γὰρ σωματικὴ γυμνασία πρὸς ὀλίγον ἐστὶν ὠφέλιμος· ἡ δὲ εὐσέβεια πρὸς πάντα ὠφέλιμός ἐστιν, ἐπαγγελίαν ἔχουσα ζωῆς τῆς νῦν καὶ τῆς μελλούσης.
ē gar sōmatikē gymnasia pros oligon estin ōphelimos· ē de eysebeia pros panta ōphelimos estin, epaggelian echoysa zōēs tēs nyn kai tēs melloysēs.

For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Modern English

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
