2 Peter 2:22

Συμβέβηκεν δὲ αὐτοῖς τὸ τῆς ἀληθοῦς παροιμίας, Κύων ἐπιστρέψας ἐπὶ τὸ ἴδιον ἐξέραμα, καὶ ὗς λουσαμένη εἰς κύλισμα βορβόρου.
Symbebēken de aytois to tēs alēthoys paroimias, Kyōn epistrepsas epi to idion exerama, kai ys loysamenē eis kylisma borboroy.
King James Version (KJV)

But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Modern English

Of them the proverbs are true: A dog returns to its vomit, and, A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.
