This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking.
Ταύτην ἤδη, ἀγαπητοί, δευτέραν ὑμῖν γράφω ἐπιστολήν, ἐν αἷς διεγείρω ὑμῶν ἐν ὑπομνήσει τὴν εἰλικρινῆ διάνοιαν,
Taytēn ēdē, agapētoi, deyteran ymin graphō epistolēn, en ais diegeirō ymōn en ypomnēsei tēn eilikrinē dianoian,
