Hebrews 2:10

Eprepen gar aytō, di' on ta panta, kai di' oy ta panta, polloys yioys eis doxan agagonta, ton archēgon tēs sōtērias aytōn dia pathēmatōn teleiōsai.
King James Version (KJV)

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Modern English

In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.
