Hebrews 2:9

Ton de brachy ti par' aggeloys ēlattōmenon blepomen Iēsoyn, dia to pathēma toy thanatoy doxē kai timē estephanōmenon, opōs chariti Theoy yper pantos geysētai thanatoy.
King James Version (KJV)

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Modern English

But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
