John 8:9

οι δε ακουσαντες και υπο της συνειδησεως ελεγχομενοι εξηρχοντο εις καθ εις αρξαμενοι απο των πρεσβυτερων εως των εσχατων και κατελειφθη μονος ο ιησους και η γυνη εν μεσω εστωσα
oi de akoysantes kai ypo tēs syneidēseōs elegchomenoi exērchonto eis kath eis arxamenoi apo tōn presbyterōn eōs tōn eschatōn kai kateleiphthē monos o iēsoys kai ē gynē en mesō estōsa

And they which heard {it}, being convicted by {their own} conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, {even} unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

Modern English

They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle.
