Luke 13:6

ελεγεν δε ταυτην την παραβολην συκην ειχεν τις εν τω αμπελωνι αυτου πεφυτευμενην και ηλθεν καρπον ζητων εν αυτη και ουχ ευρεν
elegen de taytēn tēn parabolēn sykēn eichen tis en tō ampelōni aytoy pephyteymenēn kai ēlthen karpon zētōn en aytē kai oych eyren

He spake also this parable; A certain {man} had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

Modern English

He spoke this parable. “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none.
