Luke 14:1

και εγενετο εν τω ελθειν αυτον εις οικον τινος των αρχοντων των φαρισαιων σαββατω φαγειν αρτον και αυτοι ησαν παρατηρουμενοι αυτον
kai egeneto en tō elthein ayton eis oikon tinos tōn archontōn tōn pharisaiōn sabbatō phagein arton kai aytoi ēsan paratēroymenoi ayton

And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.

Modern English

When he went into the house of one of the rulers of the Pharisees on a Sabbath to eat bread, they were watching him.
