Luke 14:18

και ηρξαντο απο μιας παραιτεισθαι παντες ο πρωτος ειπεν αυτω αγρον ηγορασα και εχω αναγκην εξελθειν και ιδειν αυτον ερωτω σε εχε με παρητημενον
kai ērxanto apo mias paraiteisthai pantes o prōtos eipen aytō agron ēgorasa kai echō anagkēn exelthein kai idein ayton erōtō se eche me parētēmenon

And they all with one {consent} began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.

Modern English

They all as one began to make excuses. “The first said to him, ‘I have bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please have me excused.’
