Luke 6:34

και εαν δανειζητε παρ ων ελπιζετε ελπιζητε απολαβειν ποια υμιν χαρις εστιν και γαρ οι αμαρτωλοι αμαρτωλοις δανειζουσιν ινα απολαβωσιν τα ισα

And if ye lend {to them} of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

Modern English

If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive back as much.
