αυτος ουν δαβιδ λεγει αυτον κυριον και ποθεν υιος αυτου εστιν και ο πολυς οχλος ηκουεν αυτου ηδεως
aytos oyn dabid legei ayton kyrion kai pothen yios aytoy estin kai o polys ochlos ēkoyen aytoy ēdeōs

David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he {then} his son? And the common people heard him gladly.

Modern English

Therefore David himself calls him Lord, so how can he be his son?” The common people heard him gladly.
