Mark 14:1

ην δε το πασχα και τα αζυμα μετα δυο ημερας και εζητουν οι αρχιερεις και οι γραμματεις πως αυτον εν δολω κρατησαντες αποκτεινωσιν
ēn de to pascha kai ta azyma meta dyo ēmeras kai ezētoyn oi archiereis kai oi grammateis pōs ayton en dolō kratēsantes apokteinōsin

After two days was {the feast of} the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put {him} to death.

Modern English

It was now two days before the feast of the Passover and the unleavened bread, and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might seize him by deception, and kill him.
