και παραγων ειδεν λευιν τον του αλφαιου καθημενον επι το τελωνιον και λεγει αυτω ακολουθει μοι και αναστας ηκολουθησεν αυτω

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the {son} of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him. {at the...: or, at the place where the custom was received}

Modern English

As he passed by, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax office, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he arose and followed him.
