Matthew 4:6

και λεγει αυτω ει υιος ει του θεου βαλε σεαυτον κατω γεγραπται γαρ οτι τοις αγγελοις αυτου εντελειται περι σου και επι χειρων αρουσιν σε μηποτε προσκοψης προς λιθον τον ποδα σου
kai legei aytō ei yios ei toy theoy bale seayton katō gegraptai gar oti tois aggelois aytoy enteleitai peri soy kai epi cheirōn aroysin se mēpote proskopsēs pros lithon ton poda soy
King James Version (KJV)

And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in {their} hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Modern English

and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, ‘He will put his angels in charge of you.’ and, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, so that you don’t dash your foot against a stone.’”
