Matthew 6:24

ουδεις δυναται δυσιν κυριοις δουλευειν η γαρ τον ενα μισησει και τον ετερον αγαπησει η ενος ανθεξεται και του ετερου καταφρονησει ου δυνασθε θεω δουλευειν και μαμμωνα
oydeis dynatai dysin kyriois doyleyein ē gar ton ena misēsei kai ton eteron agapēsei ē enos anthexetai kai toy eteroy kataphronēsei oy dynasthe theō doyleyein kai mammōna

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Modern English

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon.
