But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.
Ἀλλὰ λέγω, μὴ οὐκ ἤκουσαν; Μενοῦνγε· Εἰς πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν ἐξῆλθεν ὁ φθόγγος αὐτῶν, καὶ εἰς τὰ πέρατα τῆς οἰκουμένης τὰ ῥήματα αὐτῶν.
Alla legō, mē oyk ēkoysan; Menoynge· Eis pasan tēn gēn exēlthen o phthoggos aytōn, kai eis ta perata tēs oikoymenēs ta rēmata aytōn.
