וַיִּתֵּ֣ן הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים אֶת דָּנִיֵּ֖אל לְחֶ֣סֶד וּלְרַחֲמִ֑ים לִפְנֵ֖י שַׂ֥ר הַסָּרִיסִֽים׃
Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
