שִׁ֥יר הַשִּׁירִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר לִשְׁלֹמֹֽה׃

יִשָּׁקֵ֙נִי֙ מִנְּשִׁיק֣וֹת פִּ֔יהוּ כִּי־טוֹבִ֥ים דֹּדֶ֖יךָ מִיָּֽיִן׃

KJVLet him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth, for your love is better than wine.

לְרֵ֙יחַ֙ שְׁמָנֶ֣יךָ טוֹבִ֔ים שֶׁ֖מֶן תּוּרַ֣ק שְׁמֶ֑ךָ עַל־כֵּ֖ן עֲלָמ֥וֹת אֲהֵבֽוּךָ׃

KJVBecause of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth; therefore do the virgins love thee.

Your anointing oils are fragrant. Your name is oil poured forth, therefore the maidens love you.

מָשְׁכֵ֙נִי֙ אַחֲרֶ֣יךָ נָּר֔וּצָה הֱבִיאַ֤נִי הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ חֲדָרָ֔יו נָגִ֥ילָה וְנִשְׂמְחָ֖ה בָּ֑ךְ נַזְכִּ֤ירָה דֹדֶ֙יךָ֙ מִיַּ֔יִן מֵישָׁרִ֖ים אֲהֵבֽוּךָ׃

KJVDraw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

Draw me! We will run after you. The king has brought me into his chambers. We will be glad and rejoice in you. We will praise your love more than wine. Rightly do they love you.

שְׁחוֹרָ֤ה אֲנִי֙ וְנָאוָ֔ה בְּנ֖וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם כְּאָהֳלֵ֣י קֵדָ֔ר כִּירִיע֖וֹת שְׁלֹמֹֽה׃

KJVI am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

I am dark, but lovely, daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon.

אַל־תִּרְא֙וּנִי֙ שֶׁאֲנִ֣י שְׁחַרְחֹ֔רֶת שֶׁשְּׁזָפַ֖תְנִי הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ בְּנֵ֣י אִמִּ֗י נִֽחֲרוּ־בִי֙ שָׂמֻ֙נִי֙ נֹטֵרָ֣ה אֶת־הַכְּרָמִ֔ים כַּרְמִ֥י שֶׁלִּ֖י לֹ֥א נָטָֽרְתִּי׃

KJVLook not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

Don't stare at me because I am dark, because the sun has scorched me. My mother's sons were angry with me. They made me keeper of the vineyards, but I have not kept my own vineyard.

הַגִּ֣ידָה לִּ֗י שֶׁאָהֲבָ֤ה נַפְשִׁי֙ אֵיכָ֣ה תִרְעֶ֔ה אֵיכָ֣ה תַרְבִּ֔יץ בַּֽצָּהֳרָ֑יִם שַׁלָּמָ֤ה אֶֽהְיֶה֙ כְּעֹ֣טְיָ֔ה עַ֖ל עֶדְרֵ֥י חֲבֵרֶֽיךָ׃

KJVTell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?

Tell me, you whom my soul loves, where do you pasture your flock? Where do you rest them at noon? For why should I be like one who is veiled beside the flocks of your companions?

אִם־לֹ֤א תֵדְעִי֙ לָ֔ךְ הַיָּפָ֖ה בַּנָּשִׁ֑ים צְאִי־לָ֞ךְ בְּעִקְבֵ֣י הַצֹּ֗אן וּרְעִי֙ אֶת־גְּדִיֹּתַ֔יִךְ עַ֖ל מִשְׁכְּנ֥וֹת הָרֹעִֽים׃

KJVIf thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds' tents.

If you don't know, most beautiful among women, follow the tracks of the flock, and feed your young goats beside the shepherds' tents.

לְסֻסָתִי֙ בְּרִכְבֵ֣י פַרְעֹ֔ה דִּמִּיתִ֖יךְ רַעְיָתִֽי׃

KJVI have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh's chariots.

I have compared you, my love, to a mare among Pharaoh's chariots.

נָאו֤וּ לְחָיַ֙יִךְ֙ בַּתֹּרִ֔ים צַוָּארֵ֖ךְ בַּחֲרוּזִֽים׃

KJVThy cheeks are comely with rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of gold.

Your cheeks are lovely with rows of jewels, your neck with strings of beads.

תּוֹרֵ֤י זָהָב֙ נַעֲשֶׂה־לָּ֔ךְ עִ֖ם נְקֻדּ֥וֹת הַכָּֽסֶף׃

KJVWe will make thee borders of gold with studs of silver.

We will make you earrings of gold, with studs of silver.

עַד־שֶׁהַמֶּ֣לֶךְ בִּמְסִבּ֔וֹ נִרְדִּ֖י נָתַ֥ן רֵיחֽוֹ׃

KJVWhile the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.

While the king sat at his table, my nard gave forth its fragrance.

צְר֤וֹר הַמֹּר֙ דּוֹדִ֣י לִ֔י בֵּ֥ין שָׁדַ֖י יָלִֽין׃

KJVA bundle of myrrh is my wellbeloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts.

My beloved is a bundle of myrrh that lies between my breasts.

אֶשְׁכֹּ֤ל הַכֹּ֙פֶר֙ דּוֹדִ֣י לִ֔י בְּכַרְמֵ֖י עֵ֥ין גֶּֽדִי׃

KJVMy beloved is unto me as a cluster of camphire in the vineyards of Engedi.

My beloved is a cluster of henna flowers from the vineyards of En Gedi.

הִנָּ֤ךְ יָפָה֙ רַעְיָתִ֔י הִנָּ֥ךְ יָפָ֖ה עֵינַ֥יִךְ יוֹנִֽים׃

KJVBehold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.

Behold, you are beautiful, my love. Behold, you are beautiful. Your eyes are doves.

הִנְּךָ֤ יָפֶה֙ דוֹדִ֔י אַ֖ף נָעִ֑ים אַף־עַרְשֵׂ֖נוּ רַעֲנָנָֽה׃

KJVBehold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant: also our bed is green.

Behold, you are beautiful, my beloved! Yes, pleasant! Also our couch is verdant.

קֹר֤וֹת בָּתֵּ֙ינוּ֙ אֲרָזִ֔ים רָהִיטֵ֖נוּ בְּרוֹתִֽים׃

KJVThe beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.

The beams of our house are cedars. Our rafters are firs.
