אֲנִ֥י חֲבַצֶּ֖לֶת הַשָּׁר֑וֹן שׁוֹשַׁנַּ֖ת הָעֲמָקִֽים׃
KJVI am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.

כְּשׁוֹשַׁנָּ֖ה בֵּ֣ין הַחוֹחִ֑ים כֵּ֥ן רַעְיָתִ֖י בֵּ֥ין הַבָּנֽוֹת׃

כְּתַפּ֙וּחַ֙ בַּעֲצֵ֣י הַיַּ֔עַר כֵּ֥ן דּוֹדִ֖י בֵּ֣ין הַבָּנִ֑ים בְּצִלּ֤וֹ חִמַּ֙דְתִּי֙ וְיָשַׁ֔בְתִּי וּפִרְי֖וֹ מָת֥וֹק לְחִכִּֽי׃
KJVAs the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.

הֱבִיאַ֖נִי אֶל־בֵּ֣ית הַיָּ֑יִן וְדִגְל֥וֹ עָלַ֖י אַהֲבָֽה׃
KJVHe brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
He brought me to the banquet hall, and his banner over me is love.

סַמְּכ֤וּנִי בָֽאֲשִׁישׁוֹת֙ רַפְּד֣וּנִי בַתַּפּוּחִ֔ים כִּי־חוֹלַ֥ת אַהֲבָ֖ה אָֽנִי׃
KJVStay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love.
Strengthen me with raisins, refresh me with apples, for I am faint with love.

שְׂמֹאלוֹ֙ תַּ֣חַת לְרֹאשִׁ֔י וִימִינ֖וֹ תְּחַבְּקֵֽנִי׃
KJVHis left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.

הִשְׁבַּ֨עְתִּי אֶתְכֶ֜ם בְּנ֤וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ בִּצְבָא֔וֹת א֖וֹ בְּאַיְל֣וֹת הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה אִם־תָּעִ֧ירוּ וְאִם־תְּעֽוֹרְרוּ֛ אֶת־הָאַהֲבָ֖ה עַ֥ד שֶׁתֶּחְפָּֽץ׃
KJVI charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.
I adjure you, daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, or by the hinds of the field, that you not stir up, nor awaken love until it so desires.

ק֣וֹל דּוֹדִ֔י הִנֵּה־זֶ֖ה בָּ֑א מְדַלֵּג֙ עַל־הֶֽהָרִ֔ים מְקַפֵּ֖ץ עַל־הַגְּבָעֽוֹת׃
KJVThe voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.
The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes, leaping over the mountains, bounding over the hills.

דּוֹמֶ֤ה דוֹדִי֙ לִצְבִ֔י א֖וֹ לְעֹ֣פֶר הָאַיָּלִ֑ים הִנֵּה־זֶ֤ה עוֹמֵד֙ אַחַ֣ר כָּתְלֵ֔נוּ מַשְׁגִּ֙יחַ֙ מִן־הַֽחַלֹּנ֔וֹת מֵצִ֖יץ מִן־הַֽחֲרַכִּֽים׃
KJVMy beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.
My beloved is like a roe or a young hart. Behold, he stands behind our wall! He looks in through the windows. He glances through the lattice.

עָנָ֤ה דוֹדִי֙ וְאָ֣מַר לִ֔י ק֥וּמִי לָ֖ךְ רַעְיָתִ֑י יָפָתִ֖י וּלְכִי־לָֽךְ׃
KJVMy beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
My beloved spoke and said to me, "Rise up, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.

כִּֽי־הִנֵּ֥ה הַסְּתָ֖יו עָבָ֑ר הַגֶּ֕שֶׁם חָלַ֖ף הָלַ֥ךְ לֽוֹ׃
KJVFor, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
"For, behold, the winter is past. The rain is over and gone.

הַנִּצָּנִים֙ נִרְא֣וּ בָאָ֔רֶץ עֵ֥ת הַזָּמִ֖יר הִגִּ֑יעַ וְק֥וֹל הַתּ֖וֹר נִשְׁמַ֥ע בְּאַרְצֵֽנוּ׃
KJVThe flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
The flowers appear on the earth. The time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.

הַתְּאֵנָ֤ה חָֽנְטָה֙ פַגֶּ֔יהָ וְהַגְּפָנִ֥ים סְמָדַ֖ר נָ֣תְנוּ רֵ֑יחַ ק֥וּמִי לָ֛ךְ רַעְיָתִ֥י יָפָתִ֖י וּלְכִי־לָֽךְ׃
KJVThe fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
The fig tree ripens its figs. The vines are in blossom. They give out their fragrance. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away."

יוֹנָתִ֞י בְּחַגְוֵ֣י הַסֶּ֗לַע בְּסֵ֙תֶר֙ הַמַּדְרֵגָ֔ה הַרְאִ֙ינִי֙ אֶת־מַרְאַ֔יִךְ הַשְׁמִיעִ֖ינִי אֶת־קוֹלֵ֑ךְ כִּי־קוֹלֵ֣ךְ עָרֵ֔ב וּמַרְאֵ֖יךְ נָאוֶֽה׃
KJVO my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.
My dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places of the mountainside, let me see your face, let me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.

אֶחֱזוּ־לָ֙נוּ֙ שֽׁוּעָלִ֔ים שֽׁוּעָלִ֥ים קְטַנִּ֖ים מְחַבְּלִ֣ים כְּרָמִ֑ים וּכְרָמֵ֖ינוּ סְמָדַֽר׃
KJVTake us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.
Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vineyards, for our vineyards are in blossom.

דּוֹדִ֥י לִ֖י וַאֲנִ֣י ל֑וֹ הָרֹעֶ֖ה בַּשּׁוֹשַׁנִּֽים׃
KJVMy beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.
My beloved is mine, and I am his. He browses among the lilies.
17
עַ֤ד שֶׁיָּפ֙וּחַ֙ הַיּ֔וֹם וְנָ֖סוּ הַצְּלָלִ֑ים סֹב֩ דְּמֵה־לְךָ֨ דוֹדִ֜י לִצְבִ֗י א֛וֹ לְעֹ֥פֶר הָאַיָּלִ֖ים עַל־הָרֵ֥י בָֽתֶר׃
KJVUntil the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.
Until the day is cool and the shadows flee, turn, my beloved, and be like a roe or a young hart on the mountains of Bether.
