And Ahijah caught the new garment that {was} on him, and rent it {in} twelve pieces:
וַיִּתְפֹּ֣שׂ אֲחִיָּ֔ה בַּשַּׂלְמָ֥ה הַחֲדָשָׁ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָלָ֑יו וַיִּ֨קְרָעֶ֔הָ שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖ר קְרָעִֽים׃
vayitpos ʾaḥiyah bashalmah haḥadashah ʾasher ʿalayv vayiqraʿeha shneym ʿashar qraʿiym
