"Pero no quitaré todo el reino de su mano, sino que lo mantendré como príncipe todos los días de su vida, por amor a David mi siervo, al cual elegí y quien guardó mis mandamientos y mis estatutos;
Howbeit I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand: but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant's sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes:
וְלֹֽא־אֶקַּ֥ח אֶת־כָּל־הַמַּמְלָכָ֖ה מִיָּד֑וֹ כִּ֣י ׀ נָשִׂ֣יא אֲשִׁתֶ֗נּוּ כֹּ֚ל יְמֵ֣י חַיָּ֔יו לְמַ֨עַן דָּוִ֤ד עַבְדִּי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּחַ֣רְתִּי אֹת֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁמַ֖ר מִצְוֺתַ֥י וְחֻקֹּתָֽי׃
vloʾ-ʾeqaḥ ʾet-kal-hamamlakah miyadvo kiy ׀ nashiyʾ ʾashitenv kol ymey ḥayayv lmaʿan david ʿabdiy ʾasher baḥartiy ʾotvo ʾasher shamar miṣvotay vḥuqotay
