Y fue y halló el cuerpo echado en el camino, y el asno y el león que estaban junto al cuerpo; el león no había comido el cuerpo, ni dañado al asno.
And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass. {torn: Heb. broken}
וַיֵּ֗לֶךְ וַיִּמְצָ֤א אֶת־נִבְלָתוֹ֙ מֻשְׁלֶ֣כֶת בַּדֶּ֔רֶךְ וֽ͏ַחֲמוֹר֙ וְהָ֣אַרְיֵ֔ה עֹמְדִ֖ים אֵ֣צֶל הַנְּבֵלָ֑ה לֹֽא־אָכַ֤ל הָֽאַרְיֵה֙ אֶת־הַנְּבֵלָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א שָׁבַ֖ר אֶֽת־הַחֲמֽוֹר׃
vayelek vayimṣaʾ ʾet-niblatvo mushleket baderek v͏aḥamvor vhaʾaryeh ʿomdiym ʾeṣel hanbelah loʾ-ʾakal haʾaryeh ʾet-hanbelah vloʾ shabar ʾet-haḥamvor
