Cuando Ahías oyó el ruido de sus pies al entrar por la puerta, dijo: «Entra, mujer de Jeroboam; ¿por qué te finges otra? He aquí que yo soy enviado a ti con duras nuevas.
And it was {so}, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself {to be} another? for I {am} sent to thee {with} heavy {tidings}. {heavy: Heb. hard}
וַיְהִי֩ כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ אֲחִיָּ֜הוּ אֶת־ק֤וֹל רַגְלֶ֙יהָ֙ בָּאָ֣ה בַפֶּ֔תַח וַיֹּ֕אמֶר בֹּ֖אִי אֵ֣שֶׁת יָרָבְעָ֑ם לָ֣מָּה זֶּ֗ה אַ֚תְּ מִתְנַכֵּרָ֔ה וְאָ֣נֹכִ֔י שָׁל֥וּחַ אֵלַ֖יִךְ קָשָֽׁה׃
vayhiy kishmoʿa ʾaḥiyahv ʾet-qvol ragleyha baʾah bapetaḥ vayoʾmer boʾiy ʾeshet yarabʿam lamah zeh ʾat mitnakerah vʾanokiy shalvḥa ʾelayik qashah
