Entonces él se levantó y fue a Sarepta; y cuando llegó a la puerta de la ciudad, he aquí una mujer viuda estaba allí recogiendo leños; y él la llamó, y le dijo: «Te ruego que me traigas un poco de agua en un vaso para que beba.»
So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman {was} there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
וַיָּ֣קָם ׀ וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ צָרְפַ֗תָה וַיָּבֹא֙ אֶל־פֶּ֣תַח הָעִ֔יר וְהִנֵּֽה־שָׁ֛ם אִשָּׁ֥ה אַלְמָנָ֖ה מְקֹשֶׁ֣שֶׁת עֵצִ֑ים וַיִּקְרָ֤א אֵלֶ֙יהָ֙ וַיֹּאמַ֔ר קְחִי־נָ֨א לִ֧י מְעַט־מַ֛יִם בַּכְּלִ֖י וְאֶשְׁתֶּֽה׃
vayaqam ׀ vayelek ṣarpatah vayaboʾ ʾel-petaḥ haʿiyr vhineh-sham ʾishah ʾalmanah mqosheshet ʿeṣiym vayiqraʾ ʾeleyha vayoʾmar qḥiy-naʾ liy mʿaṭ-mayim bakliy vʾeshteh
