Y cuando Elías la oyó, cubrió su rostro con su manto, y salió, y se puso a la puerta de la cueva. Y he aquí vino a él una voz, diciendo: «¿Qué haces aquí, Elías?»
And it was {so}, when Elijah heard {it}, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, {there came} a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?
וַיְהִ֣י ׀ כִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ אֵלִיָּ֗הוּ וַיָּ֤לֶט פָּנָיו֙ בְּאַדַּרְתּ֔וֹ וַיֵּצֵ֕א וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֖ד פֶּ֣תַח הַמְּעָרָ֑ה וְהִנֵּ֤ה אֵלָיו֙ ק֔וֹל וַיֹּ֕אמֶר מַה־לְּךָ֥ פֹ֖ה אֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃
vayhiy ׀ kishmoʿa ʾeliyahv vayaleṭ panayv bʾadartvo vayeṣeʾ vayaʿamod petaḥ hamʿarah vhineh ʾelayv qvol vayoʾmer mah-lka poh ʾeliyahv
