Ciñeron, pues, sus lomos de cilicio, y sogas en sus cabezas, y fueron al rey de Israel, y le dijeron: «Tu siervo Ben-hadad dice: "Te ruego que me dejes la vida."» Y él respondió: «¿Vive aún? Él es mi hermano.»
So they girded sackcloth on their loins, and {put} ropes on their heads, and came to the king of Israel, and said, Thy servant Benhadad saith, I pray thee, let me live. And he said, {Is} he yet alive? he {is} my brother.
וַיַּחְגְּרוּ֩ שַׂקִּ֨ים בְּמָתְנֵיהֶ֜ם וַחֲבָלִ֣ים בְּרָאשֵׁיהֶ֗ם וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ אֶל־מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ עַבְדְּךָ֧ בֶן־הֲדַ֛ד אָמַ֖ר תְּחִֽי־נָ֣א נַפְשִׁ֑י וַיֹּ֛אמֶר הַעוֹדֶ֥נּוּ חַ֖י אָחִ֥י הֽוּא׃
vayaḥgrv shaqiym bmatneyhem vaḥabaliym braʾsheyhem vayaboʾv ʾel-melek yishraʾel vayoʾmrv ʿabdka ben-hadad ʾamar tḥiy-naʾ napshiy vayoʾmer haʿvodenv ḥay ʾaḥiy hvʾ
