And all the elders and all the people said unto him, Hearken not {unto him}, nor consent.
וַיֹּאמְר֥וּ אֵלָ֛יו כָּל־הַזְּקֵנִ֖ים וְכָל־הָעָ֑ם אַל־תִּשְׁמַ֖ע וְל֥וֹא תֹאבֶֽה׃
vayoʾmrv ʾelayv kal-hazqeniym vkal-haʿam ʾal-tishmaʿ vlvoʾ toʾbeh
