Y Samuel ya no volvió a ver a Saúl hasta el día de su muerte; porque Samuel lloraba por Saúl. Y el SEÑOR lamentaba haber puesto a Saúl como rey sobre Israel.
And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.
וְלֹא־יָסַ֨ף שְׁמוּאֵ֜ל לִרְא֤וֹת אֶת־שָׁאוּל֙ עַד־י֣וֹם מוֹת֔וֹ כִּֽי־הִתְאַבֵּ֥ל שְׁמוּאֵ֖ל אֶל־שָׁא֑וּל וַיהוָ֣ה נִחָ֔ם כִּֽי־הִמְלִ֥יךְ אֶת־שָׁא֖וּל עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
vloʾ-yasaf shmvʾel lirʾvot ʾet-shaʾvl ʿad-yvom mvotvo kiy-hitʾabel shmvʾel ʾel-shaʾvl vayhvah niḥam kiy-himliyk ʾet-shaʾvl ʿal-yishraʾel
