Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto Jesse, and said, Send me David thy son, which {is} with the sheep.
וַיִּשְׁלַ֥ח שָׁא֛וּל מַלְאָכִ֖ים אֶל־יִשָׁ֑י וַיֹּ֕אמֶר שִׁלְחָ֥ה אֵלַ֛י אֶת־דָּוִ֥ד בִּנְךָ֖ אֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּצֹּֽאן׃
vayishlaḥ shaʾvl malʾakiym ʾel-yishay vayoʾmer shilḥah ʾelay ʾet-david binka ʾasher baṣoʾn
