Samuel hizo lo que el SEÑOR le dijo y llegó a Belén. Los ancianos de la ciudad salieron a recibirlo temblando y dijeron: «¿Es tu llegada en paz?»
And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably? {coming: Heb. meeting}
וַיַּ֣עַשׂ שְׁמוּאֵ֗ל אֵ֚ת אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֶּ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה וַיָּבֹ֖א בֵּ֣ית לָ֑חֶם וַיֶּחֶרְד֞וּ זִקְנֵ֤י הָעִיר֙ לִקְרָאת֔וֹ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר שָׁלֹ֥ם בּוֹאֶֽךָ׃
vayaʿas shmvʾel ʾet ʾasher diber yhvah vayaboʾ beyt laḥem vayeḥerdv ziqney haʿiyr liqraʾtvo vayoʾmer shalom bvoʾeka
